Scripps seems to have some relationship with Western but it's unclear to me if it's active and truly a linkage/consort relationship.
Hi everybody,

I'm a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in psychology. I took 22 college classes in high school (Early College High School), so I have an Associate in Arts and 109 hours as of now. Here's my stats:

cumulative GPA: 2.9
science GPA: 1.5
all other GPA: 3.2

I'm not worried about my all other GPA since it should be at least a 3.60, and I know I can get my cumulative up to at least a 3.45; but I am concerned about my science GPA being so horribly low. I have 4 semesters and possibly 1 summer to bring it up. I started another thread asking about a few psych classes possibly counting in my science GPA (cognitive psych, biopsych and a stats class for psych majors) and if they did it would really help, but otherwise I would have a really hard time getting it above like a 2.5. I'm also considering taking a year off to raise my science GPA if I don't get accepted anywhere on my first attempt, but I would rather go straight into med school.

Any advice, encouragement would be appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I'm Katie, I am a sophomore psych major at UNC Chapel Hill and I just decided I want to be a DO instead of an MD! I am planning to take cognitive psych in the fall and will probably end up taking biopsych as well in another semester. My question is, could these classes count into my science GPA? I have already taken a stats class through the psych department called "Statistical Principles of Psychological Research", and I would like to know if that could be included in my sGPA as well.

Any information you can provide will be appreciated! (please give me a reference as to where you got the info from though)
